Richard S. Yu, Esq.

A graduate of George Washington University Law School, Richard is the founding lawyer of SM YU, PLLC.
At GWU, Richard was the Managing Editor of the International Law Review. He has unique experience as a lawyer who has started-up and operated a multi-million dollar company. He is a jury trial lawyer. Richard is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Maryland.

⬩ Helped clients obtain monetary ($$$) recoveries in hundreds of car accident cases as well as slip-and-fall cases.
⬩ Successfully defended client in jury trial re: assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress.
⬩ Successfully defended client in jury trial against multi-million dollar company.
⬩ Pursued mechanic's lien and obtained money for clients who did construction work.
⬩ Obtained dismissals or favorable settlements in county code violation, traffic and criminal cases.
